ABC Seamless Roof Restorations use the Dulux AcraTex 962 Roof Membrane system, which is a premium roof coating system with outstanding  long term protection and performance. We can restore old, drab, faded roofs to a pristine gloss finish. The 962 Roof Membrane system is applied by ABC Seamless registered applicators onto concrete, terracotta and previously painted roofs. Our new Roof Membrane coating system range has been formulated with specific performance requirements to meet the functional characteristics of the roof restoration industry, including: UV resistance, waterproofing, resistance to acid rain, prevention of the accumulation of dirt, and resistance to environmental pollution.



MORE THAN JUST A “CLEAN AND PAINT” IT’S A FULL PROTECTION SYSTEM

ABC Seamless have formulated a system process which includes:

Inspection The entire roof is inspected for damaged tiles, loose or missing bedding and moss/lichen. Repair/Replace Damaged tiles are replaced.* Clean The roof is cleaned using high pressure, and the wash water is directed away in an environmentally friendly manner with layflat hosing.* Rebed/Repoint All ridge capping is rebedded* and then repointed with a flexible acrylic pointing mix. Sterilise Fungal and Algal spoilage must be completely destroyed before re-coating, otherwise the growth will continue resulting in potential failure.* Primer/Sealer The entire roof area is coated with an acrylic sealer/primer to ensure strong adhesion with the 962 Roof Membrane. 962 Roof Membrane A water based elastomeric high build coating for application to concrete roof tiles and metal roofs. 962 Roof Membrane provides ultimate protection, durability, colour retention and  weather proofing. Two coats, each at least 4 times thicker than paint, are applied for complete protection. *Where required.

Note: 962 Roof Membrane is not suitable for restoration of glazed or semi-glazed terracotta tiles.



AcraTex 962 Roof Membrane is a professionally applied, water based, 100% acrylic coating for roofs that gives the ultimate protection against the elements, and a beautiful, long lasting finish.

How long will Restoration take?
This should take on average three days; one day for inspection and cleaning, one day for tile maintenance, and one day for Prep Kleen and coating. Of course this is subject to weather conditions and the size of the roof.

What is the difference between Roof Membrane and Paint?
962 Roof Membrane is a high build elastomeric, flexible coating designed specifically for Roof Restoration. The film thickness of 962 Roof Membrane is typically between two to three times greater than conventional paint.

What colours are available?
There are 36 stock colours in the range which reflect the present day roofing trends.

Is there a warranty?
There is a two part warranty for concrete tile roofs. Dulux supplies a materials warranty for a period of ten years, which is combined with an application warranty for workmanship.
