Gutterguard and Leafguard in Wombarra

Are you located in the Wombarra area and need Gutterguard, aluminium Leafguard or gutter guard?

Well, look no further. ABC Seamless has spent more than 50 years installing gutter protection across the Illawarra, and we know exactly why Wombarra homes need it. The Illawarra's heavier rainfall and mix of older terracotta and newer Colorbond roofs demand reliable leaf and debris protection - and that's where our Gutterguard and aluminium Leafguard systems come in.

Wombarra's position in this coastal region means your gutters face both heavy storm runoff and the steady accumulation of needles and litter from native trees. A blocked gutter can turn a heavy downpour into a water damage problem within hours. Our two-system approach - Leafguard sitting inside the gutter, and Gutterguard slope-style mesh over the top - stops debris before it blocks your downpipes, while keeping rainwater flowing freely into the system.

Gutterguard for Wombarra homes

Two aluminium systems to suit your roof

ABC Seamless installs two aluminium systems only: Leafguard that sits inside the gutter, and Gutterguard slope-style mesh that goes over the gutter. We do not use PVC gutter mesh. Gutterguard uses a ski-slope angle so leaves dry and blow away while rainwater flows into the gutter - ideal for Wombarra's heavy rainfall periods when you need water moving quickly and reliably.

Mesh grades and ember protection

Mesh options are 3.5mm aluminium in standard and heavy-duty grades, 1.9mm woven or perforated aluminium, and 1.9mm stainless steel ember guard. All are tested to AS 3959-2018 and AS/NZS 1530.3 with a spread of flame index of 0, covering BAL-12.5 to BAL-FZ. For Wombarra properties, especially those near bushland edges, the BAL-rated aluminium Gutterguard options provide peace of mind during fire season while handling everyday debris and storms.

Colours and roof compatibility

Available in BlueScope Colorbond and polyester powder-coated colours to match roofs and gutters, Gutterguard suits tiled and metal roofs including corrugated, Trimdek and Klip-lok, plus valley and solar panel kits. Whether your Wombarra home has the older terracotta common in the Illawarra or a modern Colorbond installation, we'll match the mesh to your roof and guttering seamlessly.

Why Wombarra needs gutter protection

Coastal storms push debris into unprotected gutters quickly, and the Illawarra's higher rainfall means water sits and pools when gutters are blocked. Empty weekenders may not notice a problem until the next big storm arrives. Gutterguard keeps your gutters clear, your downpipes flowing, and your home protected - whether you're home or away.

Gutterguard works best alongside properly installed guttering and downpipes to manage the Illawarra's heavy rainfall. Many Wombarra homes also benefit from rainwater tanks to capture and store clean runoff.
