Gutterguard and Leafguard in Foxground
Are you located in the Foxground area and need Gutterguard, aluminium Leafguard or gutter guard?
Well, look no further. ABC Seamless has spent more than 50 years installing gutter protection across the Illawarra, and we know exactly what Foxground homes face. The region's heavier rainfall and salt air, combined with the mix of older terracotta and newer Colorbond roofs, means gutters need serious protection - not the cheap PVC mesh that clogs and fails.
We install two aluminium systems only: aluminium Leafguard that sits inside the gutter, and Gutterguard slope-style mesh that goes over it. Both keep leaves, twigs and coastal debris out while letting rainwater flow freely into your downpipes.

Gutterguard for Foxground homes
Two aluminium systems - inside or over the gutter
ABC Seamless installs aluminium Leafguard and aluminium Gutterguard - both proven in coastal and bushland settings. Leafguard sits inside your existing gutter; Gutterguard is a slope-style mesh that sits on top. The slope angle is the key: leaves dry and blow away while rain flows straight into the gutter. We do not use PVC gutter mesh, which deteriorates in salt air and clogs far too easily.
Mesh grades, ember guard and bushfire ratings
Foxground properties benefit from three mesh options. Standard and heavy-duty 3.5mm aluminium handles debris from coastal storms and tree litter. For finer protection, 1.9mm woven or perforated aluminium works well on most roofs. If bushland sits nearby or ember risk is a concern, 1.9mm stainless steel ember guard is tested to AS 3959-2018 and AS/NZS 1530.3, covering BAL-12.5 to BAL-FZ ratings. All systems carry a spread of flame index of 0.
Colour matching and roof compatibility
Gutterguard comes in BlueScope Colorbond and polyester powder-coated colours to match your roof and gutters - whether you have terracotta, corrugated metal, Trimdek or Klip-lok. Valley kits and solar panel kits are available too, so Gutterguard works with modern Foxground homes that mix traditional and contemporary roofing styles.
Why Foxground needs gutter protection
Heavier Illawarra rainfall means blocked gutters overflow quickly, and coastal debris - especially needles and litter from established trees - builds up fast. Unprotected gutters can fail silently, particularly on weekender properties that sit empty mid-week until the next storm arrives. Gutterguard keeps your gutters flowing year-round, protecting your roof, walls and foundation from water damage.
Gutterguard works best alongside sound guttering and downpipes to manage Foxground's rainfall. Many properties also benefit from rainwater tanks to capture and store runoff.
